THE SAILBOAT

The interior of the Tintamare is designed to be fresh and luminous, with plenty of windows that offer sweeping views of the surrounding sea. These windows allow for natural light and fresh air to flow freely throughout the space. Each area, from the cabins to the common spaces, is equipped with fans for added comfort, and everything aboard has been lovingly decorated to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

The kitchen and navigation table are centrally located. The cabins are positioned at the bow, with the bathroom just in front of the main cabin. At the stern, you'll find the dining area and two additional beds, ensuring privacy and reducing noise in the sleeping quarters.

The central cockpit offers excellent visibility and security, allowing for easy control while providing panoramic views. With the keel raised, at just 1.20 meters deep, the Tintamare can navigate shallow waters and get closer to the islands, adding a sense of adventure to every journey.

ITS HISTORY WITH US

After years of living aboard a 10.30-meter boat, sailing across much of the Caribbean and Mediterranean, we longed for a larger vessel to undertake longer journeys and accommodate more guests.

One of our biggest dreams has always been to attempt the Northwest Passage. For this, we needed a boat that was seaworthy, fast, robust, and most importantly, safe. The ideal choice was a monohull made of naval steel.

For over five years, we searched tirelessly but couldn’t find a boat that met our criteria or fit our budget.

Then, out of the blue, we received an offer to buy an aluminum boat that ticked every box.

We were amazed and immediately began researching the Tintamare's origins, its designer, and its former owner. What we discovered was incredible: Michel, the previous owner, had sailed with his wife, Françoise, and children on major crossings, through ice, and along vast rivers. They had thoroughly tested the boat and assured us it was built for exploration.

It was then that we knew we had found our perfect match. We couldn’t wait to call this boat our home.
